Mallard

Anas platyrhynchos

Description:

The males did not have their bright green neck feathers. It appeared that all the mallards were in good heath and had enough weight on them.

Habitat:

River

Notes:

I observed 7 total mallards. 3 were males and 4 were female. I also believe that these mallards are use to human feeding because when I stopped to talk a photo of these ducks they crossed the river and wait on my side of the river.
