White-tailed Deer

Description:

Females (does) have no antlers. The ears of the White-tailed are much smaller than the Mule Deer, which are also found here. Their tail is larger and when they startle and run, it is held up in the air like a white flag.

Habitat:

Deciduous woodlands around a river
