Geometrid moth

Phaeoura

Description:

This is a dark brown and tan moth with black markings. There are 5 species of this particular genus. I believe this may be a Phaeoura cristifera, but I am not sure. If anyone is aware of what species it is please let me know.

Habitat:

Widespread in Australia and the Americas. I found this guy resting on a screen in San Antonio, Texas. If I get more information on the species I will update information on habitat and range.

Notes:

This moth is in the tribe Nacophorini.
