Notes:

Bromeliads growing on trees are very common in the Biosphere Reserve El Cielo as these grow where high humidity. Some are part of the diet of black bear besides being temporary shelter for many amphibians and water source for insects, birds, frogs and reptiles. Biosphere Reserve El Cielo, tropical deciduous forest. I was looking at American Kestrel when I came across this picture.
