No worries! They are tricky, they all look pretty similar. I knew it wasn't a Krefft's just by looking at it (we get a lot of Krefft's into care) but it was my husband that suggested the ID of saw-shelled turtle - I had no idea!!! : )

Hey Leanne, I think this might actually be a saw-shelled turtle (Wollumbinia latisternum). Check out these sites and see what you think:

Krefft's have a much smoother head and neck, and the shell shape is different. They also have a yellow stripe on the face.
