Australian Ringneck Parrot

Description:

About 33cm tall and 11cm long. It's head is black, the body is coloured in different shades of green, the tail has blue with a little green and of course the distinctive collar of yellow on its neck. These birds are very common and people aren't concerned about extinction of the birds.

Habitat:

In forests in tall trees. They can also be found in backyards of houses in trees.
