Here is the complete list of known UK Laccaria species:

According to my guide, in the UK we get Laccaria proxima which has a 'scurfy' cap and Laccaria bicolor is rarer and has a lilac base.

Looks good to me! It's definitely a Deceiver (a Laccaria species), whether or not it's The Deceiver (L. laccata) I can't be sure as I don't know what look-alikes exist. It seems very likely though.
