origins in China. used in South FL and the Caribbean as an ornamental in yards, roadsides, parks.
These beautiful trees are in full bloom now, and there are a few in this part of the neighborhood. Interesting note the flowers are sterile and will not produce fruit or pods. When not in bloom the leaves are quiet distinct (see last pic) The resemble the shape of a camel's foot (another of the tree's common name) or perhaps the 2 wings of a butterfly (yet another common name).
