Description:

My first spot of the 2013, here we go photo take in my backyard small beauty pale green on the underwings looks like one of the hairstreak but i never seen this one. around 2 cm wingspan. Its feeding on a wild flowers. Hindwing with one tail. Face brown. Upperside steel blue. Underside yellow-green; hindwing outer margin with red-brown submarginal spots.

Habitat:

Thorn scrub and seasonally dry subtropical woodland. Costa Rica north to northern Mexico and South Texas.
