Description:

The photo is deceptive as the cinnamon colour is limited to a wash on the flanks, the chest is greyish becoming paler through the belly to a white undertail. The black & white eyebrows and throat markings are diagnostic. the Kurichane thrush has a mellow warbling song. size about 24 cms. Males and females are of similar appearance while juveniles have spotted breasts

Habitat:

well wooded large garden in agricultural smallholding
