At the moment you are on the safe side. I would wat for Nuwan or other moth freaks from India to confirm or even better, have a suggestion for the correct species.

Noctuidae, Catacalinae, Ischyja sp.. Might be Ischyja manlia which is quite common. However, I am not sure about the species or other species found in India and I am not sure if all IDs on the web are really correct.
