Medium-sized fly handsomely marked with black, gray, and brown.

Habitat:

Found near an arroyo (dry riverbed of Santa Cruz River in this case) just west of downtown Tucson. Typical Sonoran Desert habitat with Mesquite trees lining riparian corridor.
