Northern Crested Caracara

Description:

I believe this is a Northern Caracara.

Habitat:

Sonoran Desert. Have see very large quantities the past few weeks as farmers are tilling the fields and they are having a hayday with the fieldmice!

Notes:

I think this is a Northern Caracara. The black ones are Southern. These seem a lot more scraggley than the black ones.
