Northern Mockingbird

Mimus polyglottos

Description:

Medium sized bird. Gray upper parts with graish white under parts. Two white white wingbars on each wing. Fairly long legs and tail. White patches on wings seen during flight. Usually, prolific singers with songs that mimic many other species and other sounds.

Habitat:

Well planted housing area.

Notes:

These two Mockingbirds were very quiet and merely observed me as I took pictures of them.
