Smokey Jungle Frog

Leptodactylus pentadactylus

Description:

Frog we found in La Selva Biological Station, owned by Organization for Tropical Studies (OTS), and located in Sarapiquí, Costa Rica. After some investigation I concluded this species is Leptodactylus pentadactylus. However, the individuals of this species are more big that I shot in this photo, what make me think this is a juvenile.

Habitat:

Found dwelling in the litter on a trail.
