Please disregard Sarah's comment regarding the mission. There's nothing that states that the organism must be in flight.

The definition for Global Flight is as fallows: "To create a magnificent collection of images of your favorite fliers. Not just birds, but bats, insects, even gliding mammals – from garden songbirds to the buzzing bugs of tropical jungles. As images are added, the mission will build a picture of the massive variety of winged wonders of the animal kingdom from around the globe!"

There is nothing about the animals being in flight vs. able to fly. Looking through the pictures added there are many birds that are not in flight.

I am assuming you mean are in the process of flight vs. have the ability to fly?
