Winter Wren

Troglodytes hiemalis

Description:

This small wren is in the wetland behind my house every winter. They go a little further north or to higher elevations for the breeding season.

Notes:

This is a typical view of one of these Winter Wrens, in thick brushy vegetation and not often out in the open.
