Martin, this is where my lack of knowledge meets my lack of experience and things go awkward. I can't say if this critter is usually arboreal, or just got a temporary refuge there. But, the "first" in your message is very impressive (I like firsts...), so I'll consider it that way until further notice...

This is an amphipod crustacean usually found on the ground (or more often in the ocean). I've never met an arboreal one so asergio, you've done it again. http://www.nationalgeographicstock.com/n...
