The whole plant is used as diuretic, blood purifier, laxative and to facilitate digestion and stimulate the appetite can also be used in cases of constipation. Moreover, it contributes to increase production of bile therefore is suitable to problems of liver and gallbladder. The root is indicated for rheumatism.
