Description:

Small bird with gray wings back and tail, white belly with buffy coloring on the sides. Distinct black and white head. No distinction between males and females.

Habitat:

Wooded backyard in a housing area. Attending the bird feeders.

Notes:

These guys were very fast moving and not easy to photograph. They would grab a seed and fly to a nearby tree to crack it open.
