Description:

About 25cm long, bold body brown in colour with a large golden patch at each side and orange below, tail as large as body, ear-opening roundish or oval, as large as a lateral scale.

Habitat:

Spotted at Tanjung Puting National Park (Tropical forest) - Kalimantan, Borneo - Indonesia. It is also found from India to Bangladesh, Cambodia, China, Indonesia, Laos, Malaysia, Myanmar, New Guinea, Philippines, Singapore, Taiwan, Thailand and Vietnam.
