Hi Amber! Amazing spotting, I think you have mislead the Scientific name of this Species, this is probably an Indian Peacock (Pavo cristatus) and not disambiguation, I just wanted to point that out. Hope I helped
He lives on a resort and private airport. They have many exotic birds there. It is really a neat place to visit.
