Thank you Carol for the very kind words! I wish I had more time to paint these days, but photography fills my creative void at least! Thank you again!

I checked out your website. You are a very talented artist. WOW! Incredible. Your castle/turtle is amazing as well as your portraits of animals and people with animals.

Thanks again Joshua! I did notice the tag! I tried to zoom in but couldn't read anything. This picture was taken near Denver International Airport. They trap raptors at the airport and band them. If a raptor is trapped 3 times, they are euthanized. I guess euthanizing a raptor is better then a raptor bringing down a 737. This doesn't look like the airport tags I've seen, but that is my best guess.

Thanks again Cody! We are certainly spoiled up here! We even had sightings of Snowy Owls in CO last year! (None yet this year though!) If it's any consolation, we don't have red-shouldered hawks here and I am jealous about that - I've never seen one!

My goal is to head out to the desert of AZ this year in hopes of getting some Harris hawks and Zone-tailed hawks! That would be awesome!
