Giant Shield Bug

Pygoplatys validus

Description:

This Pygoplatys (Odontoteuchus) validus species is endemic to Borneo. It is easily recognized by its "horns" structure that grows on the thorax. About 2cm in length.

Habitat:

On this plant (unknown plant) in Balung River Eco Resort, Tawau, Sabah.
