White-tailed Deer

Odocoileus virginianus

Description:

A White-tailed Doe dubbed Paris and her fawn Hermes, although I don't see buttons so Hermes may end up being Hera in the long run.

Habitat:

Woods surrounded by prairie grasses, water and farm fields

Notes:

A loving and attentive White-tailed doe with her fawn (Hermes) born earlier this past spring/summer. I don't see buttons where antlers would eventually be but I get a masculine feeling from this fawn so am guessing at the (male) sex at this time. These two, Daddy (a full-grown, very gentle buck) and OH aka One-Horn were all traveling together this particular day. All are very gentle, deer with super sweet dispositions.
