Beetle

Calosoma (Calodrepa) aurocinctum

Description:

I was walking in a trail in the dry jungle when I saw this brilliant beetle with metallic green color. I had a big telephoto lens so I couldn't get very close. It moved around a tree trunk. I was amazed and glad to find it.

Habitat:

Deciduous forests in the Yucatan peninsula.

Nice Luis, looks like a darkling beetle (Tenebrionidae) but cannot find specific one.
