Crane Fly (mating)

Tipulidae family

Description:

They are long-legged and long-winged with slender body. However, not like mosquitoes, they do not feed on blood. Crane flies only drink water but do not feed at adult stage.

Notes:

Looks similar to the Orange crane fly but is missing the dark stripe along the abdomen. http://www.brisbaneinsects.com/brisbane_...
