That's an excellent set up you have! Yea I created the mission because the common acronym is DELMARVA, however I am from PA and moved to DE about 20 years ago so I wanted to include my "homeland" to my mission...I am familiar with your area, we spent our summers in "the mountains" as we called it and with my birding addiction I sure wish we still had the 18 acres...what a perfect refuge it would have been. :-)
@ MarybethRees...Thank you...This photo was taken from my home office window which looks directly into a Hemlock tree about 6' from it's top and only about 10-12' from it's thin trunk. This is a good place to get some great shots. I don't have to worry about the distance from the ground to the bird and I am hidden from their view because the window isn't very big. Also the majority of Hemlock cones are toward the top of the tree which keeps the feeding birds (and squirrels) in one area for awhile. I can take my time taking a photo...As for DELMARA mission, I didn't know about it but I will add them. Thanks for bringing it to my attention.

Why don't you add your photos to the Wildlife of the DELMARPA mission to show off what beauty we have in our surrounding areas.
Awesome shot!!
