Hmm... The results of other Edessa sp. where not very encouraging as well...
Assuming this is found in Brazil. I only got strange bugs looking for Costalis.
According to the Biologia centrali-americana it is an Edessa costalis (image 10): http://www.sil.si.edu/digitalcollections...
I have seen some Edessa sp. with these lateral horns. Maybe you can try to find out more about this one.
