Yay :) I meant to change it to that after Kevin suggested it but forgot, glad you agree though. Glad it isn't a slider! I'll change it now :)
Looks like a Melanistic River Cooter to me.
Sorry to break the news to you but chances are this is an older melanistic red ear slider, or possibly a melanistic cooter which looks more probable because normally the mel sliders have a white or grey ear
