Carolina Pine Sawyer

Description:

Longhorn beetle. Grey, black and brown

Habitat:

Pine trees

Notes:

Carries pinewood nematodes in their breathing pores. The nematodes will infest the pine tree and slowly kill it. Was laying so flat on the wood I thought it was dead. It scurried off when I touched it .
