I think this may be a very tattered Oriental Lemon Emigrant or Common Emigrant - Catopsilia pomona
Hi Pam! To make things more complicated for you I've made a 3rd suggestion. Also in the genus Catopsilia, but a species which I think is a better match with respect to markings and discocellular spots. You can compare images and see:

I would still wait for confirmation :-)
Have 2 suggestions for Catopsilia pomona pomona and one for Colias croceus for this very tattered butterfly. Any help with the ID appreciated.
Hi Pam. You are correct, I believe. This is a Catopsilia pomona pomona – Oriental Lemon Emigrant. http://www.ifoundbutterflies.org/55-cato....
thanks eulalia. Still not sure which one it is. Haven't heard of Colias around here, but I'll wait for more feedback.
