The leaf is the tree itself, Dane!

Very cool, still can't make an ID but interesting spotting, the foliage in picture 3 appears to be coming from a new young tree or shrub that found a home there, or a sucker coming from the base of the larger tree. There must be a source of water, maybe sweating from the rock.

The first 2 pictures are of a deciduous tree species, and the third is of a conifer. I can try to I.D. but would rather pictures of the leaves/needles, and note this could be 2 different spottings. Thanks Mayra!
