Asian Palm Civet

Description:

Sleek, mongoose-like body. White eyebrows.

Habitat:

The roof of my neighbor's house has a triangular gap which is used as a hideout by our non-human friends...it is the seasonal shelter of a barn owl (and sometimes its spouse). I was surprised to see the reclusive Toddy cat use it as a shelter in the 38-39 degree Celsius heat! I took a couple of shots when it jumped vertically up ....and was gone in a second!
