Chionanthus virginicus
Small tree with large ovate leaves. Flowers are white and deeply lobed. The petals are long and thin (thread-like). Native to the Southeastern united States but has been extensively cultivated.
Backyard (possibly cultivated), bordering temperate woodlands.
