Description:

Perennials. Dependent upon insects to carry pollen from flower to flower. They have a beautiful pouch-like lip common in Ladies'-Slippers. Pink and white.

Habitat:

Secluded pine woodlands. Grows in masses.

Notes:

Masses of these Land's Slipper orchids grow all over the woods in the Northeast Kingdom of Vermont.
