Tiny white bonnets

Mycena tiny(all white)

Description:

Extremely small white mushrooms about 3mm across the cap. Very few distant gills.
On relatively long stipes about 30mm by 0.5mm. Occasionally in groups.

Habitat:

Found in open ground with woody detritis within Baluk Willum Flora Reserve.

Notes:

Almost described in Field Guide to Tasmanian Fungi by G. Gates & D. Ratkowsky.
