Description:

This hummingbird is 8.5 cm and weighs 3.5 grams. Its beak is red with a black tip. Its bright green plumage covers the dorsal and ventral parts, presenting a more intense golden glow on the forehead and more bluish throat. The tail feathers are blue.

Habitat:

It can be found in the South, Southeast and Northeast of Brazil. Lives in gardens, flower gardens, barns sparse, open areas and flowering bushes.
