It could be, sarahaw1981; I have only seen a couple pellets. It wouldn't be from a cat as there are none in the reserve but perhaps a fox.

Interesting, all the owl jackets I've seen are mots formed and roughly the size of a human thumb. I wonder if this is not fecal matter from a mammal? Like a cat or fox or such?
