Yes I agree we do not have trails behind our house and we have creeks... I'm always trying to not get in any snakes path. I do not know much about them. We did see a snake that looked like a copperhead a couple weeks ago in a creek.

AmityHood, they are beautiful! There is no need to be terrified of them, however, healthy respect of their space is always the best way to go. They would much rather be left alone, so as long as we are aware of them and treat them with respect, everyone ends up happy!
