Trioza eugeniae
Spotted on the underside of an Aniseed Myrtle ( Syzygium anisata) leaf were numerous waxy coverings that had been popped to release little winged adult sap sucking psyllids . Pics 1 &2 show the covers and one or two winged insects about 3mm long of either dark brown or cream colour. Pic #3 shows the upper surface of the leaf with "pimples" that housed these insects as nymphs.
This species of gall producing hemipterans are usually seen in Syzygium genus. This one was seen the aromatic plant - aniseed myrtle.
