Dimelaena oreina
Dimelaena oreina is a Placodioid lichen (crustose lichen that radiates out from a center). Thallus is yellowish green which is derived from usnic acid in the cortex.
Spotted in eastern Washington on an exposed rock above 2000 ft.
The lichen grows on steep surfaces of hard siliceous rock from 400 to 2,800 metres (1,300 to 9,200 ft). (Wikipedia)
