Eastern Cotton-tail Rabbit

Sylvilagus floridanus

Description:

Ran when I got too close, but was definitely not as shy as the rabbits in the rural area that I live in.

Habitat:

Found hanging out on a pristine patch of grass on the outside of a building.

I wanted to get a more specific ID than "rabbit." You wouldn't post a photo of a goose and simply label it bird. I like to narrow my spottings down to species when possible.
