Rana Arvalis
Thank you Daniele Pralong! Thank you Martin Urban!
Cool spotting...rather R.Arvalis - that dorsal stripe looks quite characteristic doesn't it?... anyway, it's nice shot! maybe You'd just like to add it to the 'Reptiles and Amphibians of Central Europe' Mission - http://www.projectnoah.org/missions/1329...
Hi DanPirtea, and welcome to Project Noah! This is not a common toad but a frog from the genus Rana. You can tell by the raised ridges down each side of the back, the pointed snout and the eye mask. This could be either R. temporaria, arvalis. dalmatina.
