very hairy light yellow moth with white white markings on the wings (wavy lines and triangles) Family Erebidae, Subfamily Lymantriinae, Tribe Nygmiini.

Other references also put this under genus Artaxa. Here's a similar moth IDd by Roger Kendrick as Artaxa sp.: http://www.flickr.com/photos/91314344@N0...

Thank you for the ID suggestion, Leana. Did you see the white triangle markings lining the bottom edge of the wings? See pictures 2 & 3. Perhaps another species of Euproctis?
