Black Click Beetle

Elateridae family

Description:

Slender black beetle 1cm with the ability to click it's shell and flick itself into the air

Habitat:

Very common and habitat well known

Notes:

It appeared on the curtain behind the computer while I was having a late night snack so I tossed it onto the plate and used the desk lamp to light it. There are no awards for this kind of rough photography :-)
