Description:

Also know as the Common Black Bird, in Germany it is referred to as an Amsel. This thrush is black as an adult with a bright orange beak and a strong eye ring. Juvenile and females are brown to very drab tan in coloration, almost sharing resemblance to the Clay-colored Thrush found in Northern Central America.
