Trumpet Honeysuckle

Description:

This vine has showy, trumpet-shaped flowers, red outside, yellow inside in several whorled clusters at the ends of the stems. Flowers April through August.

Habitat:

Grows in woods and thickets. This honeysuckle vine was found near the Tamarac visitor center.

Notes:

This flowering vine attracts hummingbirds.
