Small sturdy bee. !0-12mm Grey stripes on the rear ( abit like a zebra wasp but shorter and stockier abdomen) Blue-black shiny wings. Grey fur with a red "beard"
This guy was on new growth in a gum tree. It was impossible to see if it was chewing the leaves off or licking something or hunting.
