Description:

Juvenile, brown spider with dark abdomen that has pale markings like a face and hair. This species is known to have been introduced in FL to TX but not CA. The male can be seen at my other spotting: http://www.projectnoah.org/spottings/235...

Habitat:

Under rock in garden. Originally from South America. The scientific note was published in the The Pan-Pacific Entomologist in the Oct 2013 edition and the range was expanded to California.
